My
Prominent and Outstanding Works: Field works
1.
I used to be a
professional trainer for elite athletes of different sports. From 1995 to 2002,
I directly served as senior trainer for Basketball team of Sepahan Club and
Volleyball team of Zobahan club. Both of these two teams were competing at the
highest level in Iranian competitive leagues. During this carrier, 6 players
were qualified to be a member in Iran basketball national team.
2.
I have taught and
conducted a total of 250 workshops and training courses (in theory and
practice) for senior coaches and trainers of different sports at a professional
level. The topics mostly were in the
field of peak performance including: athlete’s endurance training, strength
training, power (plyometrics) training, tapering, exercise periodization and
athletes’ arousal modification. I have also taught health related exercises.
3. I have developed a
sophisticated package of peak performance route map that has included physical,
physiological, and psychological strategies for competitive athletes as well as
young athletes to achieve their peak performance level. One part of this package
deals with sport talent identification and talent development across growth.
These strategies aim to provide athletes and young sport participants with
appropriate and integrated training methods to achieve their highest sport
potential. I have taught the package in numerous workshops and training courses
in Iran to professional trainers, athletes and coaches.
My Prominent and Outstanding Studies: Research and theory
1.
In 2006, I have
developed the latest model of arousal-performance relationship entitled " A
practice-specificity-based model of arousal for achieving peak performance”
published in the most prestigious journal in the field of movement neuroscience
"journal of motor behavior". The study was then cited in the
universal text book of motor learning and control (Version 2011) authored by
Richard A Schmidt and Timoothi D Lee.
2.
My studies including 1. Improvement
in social dysfunction of children with autism spectrum disorder following long
term Kata techniques training. Research in autism spectrum disorders,
9, 1054-1061, Impact Factor at the time of Publication: 2.96,, and 2. Kata
techniques training consistently decreases stereotypy in children with autism
spectrum disorder. Research in Developmental Disabilities,
33, 1183-119,. Impact Factor at the time of
Publication: 4.4 in the interdisciplinary field of autism and
exercise were considered as the studies with the
highest and the best quality across past 40 years in the world. Emily
Bremer (Affiliation: McMaster University, Canada), Michael Crozier and Meghann
Lloyd (Affiliation: University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada)
published an article entitled “A systematic review of the behavioural
outcomes following exercise interventions for children and youth with autism
spectrum disorder” in
one of the most distinguished and the most valuable journals in the field of
autism (Autism; impact factor=3.684). They systematically searched and
critically analysed the literature pertaining to behavioural outcomes of
exercise interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder aged ⩽16 years. This systematic review
employed a comprehensive peer-reviewed search strategy, two-stage screening
process and rigorous critical appraisal. Quality of the included studies were
also announced (adapted from the SIGN checklists; Harbour and Miller, 2001).
Among the studies pertaining to behavioural outcomes of exercise interventions
for individuals with autism spectrum disorder aged ⩽16 years in the past 40 years, just
three studies were found to have the highest and the best quality. Fortunately,
two studies out of these three studies belong to me and my research team.
3. In 2016, I
developed a new model for explaining the way some individuals show permanent
violent behaviors (aggressive, antisocial and maladaptive behavior) in
society as well as the effect of sport and exercise on reducing these
behaviors. The model entitled “a neurotransmitter based model for
rationalizing aggressive, antisocial
and maladaptive behavior”.
I presented it at the 8th Conference of the International Society
for the Social Sciences of Sport.
4.
My research team have completed three studies using
transcranial direct current stimulation to see if it results in improvement of
real sport skill performance and motor development. The titles are as follow:
a.
The Effect of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation on Performance of futsal
Sport Skills
b.
Effects of Combination of Point Light Modeling and Transcranial Direct Current
Stimulation on Performance of Basketball Sport Skills.
c.
The Effects of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation and Selective Motor
Training on Motor Skills development of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Because
I studied sport biology as my major in my M.A degree course, and I majored in
human Phsychomotor development and learning at my Ph.D. course, and because I
was a regional volleyball player and a professional trainer, I have a
multidisciplinary vision on sport. So, I have conducted numerous workshops
(more than 200 cases) both in the field of health and sport related fitness for
peak performance purposes:
